It was such an honor to perform with you and stand in the arc beside you. I, too, felt that i received some closure for my “marching career.” There were a few people that I just missed the chance of performing with at Star and Blast. I came to Star after Steven Jones and before you, and to Blast after both of you.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the week with Star. I already miss it!!!

Tell me about it. I only did marching band for two years and I still have recurring nightmares about it. I remember after the first full day of “band camp” I woke up marching in my sleep completely panicked because I wasn’t on my mark. Ugh.

I still play on Bach trumpets. As far as cornets, I play on a Besson prestige but am trying out the Bach 184 cornet.
