IWBC Conference in Kalamazoo, MI on 06/05/12

Dr. Raquel Rodriquez was invited to perform (soprano cornet) with The Athena Brass Band at the 2012 International Women’s Brass Conference, which will be held in Kalamazoo, MI on the campus of the Western Michigan University, June 6-10, 2012. The Athena Brass Band, comprised mostly of players from the North American Brass Band Association (NABBA), will be featured at the Conference as an all female brass band.  Their performance is scheduled for Friday, June 8 at 7:30 pm. The International Women’s Brass Conference is a celebration of what women brass artists have achieved. For more info please visit the conference website:
