I have completed all of my DMA Comprehensive exams successfully and am now ABD (all but dissertation). I will be presenting my final lecture recital in the Spring of 2008, more info to come at a later date. I am also preparing for an upcoming recital (October 30, 2007) at Missouri Western State University in which I will be performing works from Bach, Jose Ursino Da Silva, Manuel de Falla, Gershwin and Arban, please visit my events page for more info on this and other upcoming concerts.

I am happy to announce that I will be the featured soloist with the Fountain City Brass Band this year at the US Open Championships.  I will be performing “Carnival of Venice” by J.B. Arban.  I am also happy to report that the Washburn Faculty Brass Trio was chosen to perform at the 2008 KMEA Convention in Wichita, KS. And last but not least, I am honored to announce that I have become a Courtois Artist/Clinician.

I am looking forward to a new year at Washburn University. Some exciting projects include more concerts and competitions with the award-winning Fountain City Brass Band, featured soloist at the Southwest Region CBDNA Conference, soloist with the Topeka Symphony Orchestra and Washburn Symphony Orchestra, and lastly finishing my DMA degree!
